A podcast for people who love knitting, Dorset Buttons, creativity & Scotland, especially the Highlands & Islands.

Welcome to the 41st episode of my podcast – Projects Projects Projects

Thank you for joining me once again and welcome if you are a first time listener.

Following my trip to France armed with lots of knitting projects it got me thinking about all my knitting projects and projects in general.

The Weather

Hot Hot Hot – I chat about the hot weather that finally arrived in Skye, the following rain and growing season.

Pink blooms have dominated the landscape – foxgloves, fireweeds and bell heather.

Wildlife has included an otter, porpoises, white tailed eagles and a minke whale and there’s a spider update!

Creativity

All about projects!

I question the number of my knitting projects and what’s too many?

I delve in to different types of projects to think about what gives us variety, where we are or how we are feeling at any given time or day.

I update you on the projects I planned to take to France, what actually came to France with me and which ones I did.

You’ll hear why my Shetland Wool Week hat isn’t yet finished.

I have finished my Lace and Fade Boxy by Joji Locatelli and talk about the armhole measurement adjustment I had to make.  And surprise surprise I blocked it as soon as I finished it!

Tee tops are the next projects I have lined up.  (All non-Ravelry links)  Rigmor tee and Anker Tee by Petite Knits. Lake Isle knits by Unwind Knitwear and Dunedrifter by Wool & Pine Designs.

An update on my Debbie Abrahams Mystery Blanket 2017 and the new mystery cushion which awaits me.

And another project I’m about to embark on is the knit along, Return of the Lac (i.e. entralac) by Milli of Tribe Yarns.
