Annual-2014-Knitting-Crochet-Blog-Week-on-Eskimimi-Makes

The challenge for Day 2 is to:

“Write a dating profile for one of your finished projects.”

I’m known as Colour Craving and my design is a creation of Stephen West.

I first arrived on the needles in September 2013 as part of a Stephen West Mystery Shawl Knit Along on Ravelry and I fully fledged in December 2013.  In between saw me go to Shetland Wool Week where I grew quite a bit, especially while waiting at Sumburgh Airport.

I am made of Artesano 4ply Alpaca in three colourways.  I am super soft which complements my versatility, flexibility and I also have great warmth.

I seem to attract a lot of attention wherever I go.  People are intrigued by my colours, structure and overall design.  I love the fact I can mould my form into a number of different ways and still fool people as to my real shape.

Folded over in the middle as I’m so long. You can see my shape starts wide, then tapers down and I have this beautiful ladder feature up the centre.

I can be wrapped around the neck, made into a head scarf or draped over the shoulder.

I am looking for a Colour Craving pal.  I know there are lots of you out there.  Pop into the site and say hello!

    1. At least! It’s a great project to knit so I’m sure I’ll do another one at some stage.
