Back Detail

Rhona's Frances Herself Shawl – designed by Karie Westermann

Two Dorset Button brooches were made from 2 out of the 3 colours in this hand knitted shawl by Rhona, giving Rhona the choice of which colour to emphasise.

I love how the Dorset Button brooches complement the shawl being worn in a number of different ways.

A Birthday Present for Sandie – Necklace

The request was for a necklace to match a given outfit and in the specific style that Sandie prefers to wear. The Dorset Button necklace was designed incorporating embroidery thread and pearl beads in two different shades of blue. It consists of 11 buttons sized 16mm with a 12th button sized 23mm to provide a focal point for the design. The buttons were then attached to a leather flat cord to produce the unique necklace which complemented Sandie’s outfit perfectly.

Amanda's Dorset Button Cushion designed by Debbie Abrahams

Amanda had knitted this gorgeous Debbie Abrahams cushion in these wonderful Rowan Cotton Glace colours and was looking for some buttons to go on the back.
TJFrog produced four samples buttons using the same yarn as the cushion.  After Amanda had made her choice five buttons, in two designs but utilising the same colour way, were produced and added to the cushion.  A simple but very effective addition.
